CHURCH OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION, ANNAGH, BELTURBET, CO. CAVAN
I was at a funeral in Belturbet, Co. Cavan today. The deceased, Frank Maguire, was the 96 year old father of one of my colleagues in the school. I also know three of his grandchildren. Please keep his soul and his family in your prayers. While there I grabbed two, unfortunately blurry, pics of the church interior. They don't do it justice. Unfortunately my batteries died (an all too regular occurrence!)

Yes, I remember Frank. He was one of the first people we met when my husband and I moved to Belturbet. Eileen, his daughter was our contact. Frank and his wife Annie left a lasting impression on us and were great representatives of Belturbet hospitality. He is always in my prayers. I stumbled on your blog while searching for pictures of the Church of the Immaculate Conception. I am admin of "Belturbet Inside" facebook page and 3 "Belturbet Inside" websites. and like to portray every aspect of the town.
